The 2nd Tourism and Hospitality Round Table of the Travel Tourism and Hospitality Committee of the NBA Section on Business Law will hold on 6th December, 2016 at The Moorhouse Hotel, 1, Bankole Oki Road, Ikoyi, Lagos at 8:30 a.m.

 

The Theme of the Round-Table is:

“RECENT TRENDS IN TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY LAWS, POLICY AND BUSINESS”

The Round-Table will examine the recent trends and development in the tourism and hospitality industry from a team with diverse expertise in the industry.

 

Delegates will learn about the state of the industry, how it has changed and is changing and will have the opportunity to update their knowledge of the industry and some of the new laws applicable. They will also learn how to manage and adapt to these changes especially in this time of economic recession.

Resource Persons

A knowledgeable group of industry practitioners has been assembled.

 

Dr. Adun Okupe is a consultant with W Hospitality Group and a versatile expert whose qualifications and skills transverse accounting, tourism and hospitality, development, economics and management. Dr. Okupe has a deep knowledge of the tourism and hospitality Industry in Nigeria. She will present an incisive and upto date overview of the industry.

 

Mr. Bruce Prins is the Operations Director of MP Hotels the leading hospitality development company in Nigeria. He will give us the perspective of the operators and developers of hospitability establishments.

 

Mr. Wale Olakunle Odeyemi was formerly the Director Nigerian Institute for Hospitality and Tourism (NIHOTOUR) South West Campus in Lagos and now the Managing Partner, Centurion Strategic Service Solutions. Mr. Odeyemi is well placed to give us his combined perspective of a teacher, policy maker and now private practitioner.

 

Mr. Okey Egbuchu a Partner with Consolex Legal Practitioners is the Chairman, Travel Tourism and Hospitality Committee of the NBA Section on Business Law. The only lawyer on the panel, he will bring to bear his experience over the years in advising practitioners in the industry.

 

Registration

Registration will commence at 8:15 a.m.

Entertainment

Breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m. Lunch will be served after the Round-Table is declared closed.

The conference fee is N10,000 per delegate.
